I removed it, cleaned it, still nadda. H02 appears. the guide is not for a ST-DT100, but Panasonic's are all the same on the inside. To fix you just need to carefully take the back off (disconnect power source first!), locate the drive cogs for the lens machanism and give the a couple of turns.

With a phillips head screwdriver, locate and remove the two screws highlighted by the red circles in image one. Of course, since the disc does not spin, it just might be the same thing. As far as opening it, the only tricks that I can provide are general tricks to get any tight screw out. any more ideas anybody?
