H07 - and Panasonic in Australia just gave me an address of a repairer which I will contact tomorrow. In the meantime I will get a product where the Company is trying to still have a business in the future. I looked at Panasonic's warranty and it's only covered for 90 days labor and 1 year parts so I'll probably won't send it back if I couldn't fix it myself. I opened the unit up to see what the problem was and low & behold the motor was not even spinnning! The unit may not need toe be calibrated but if you checked the the jitter values, chances are they won't be the same as they were originally unless you got the In your particular issue, it would be the spindle motor that drives and spins the disc.The technically correct repair procedure wouold be to replace the entire disc mechanism/assembly.
